Listening To: Ewazen Sinfonia for String Orchestra

Listened to Eric Ewazen’s Sinfonia for Strings this morning. It has been a long time since I listened to this music and I forgot how much I like Eric Ewazen’s compositions.

The recording of this piece by the International Sejong Soloists is excellent as well.

It’s amazing how music brings back memories and feelings; this piece in particular evoked old memories of friends and experiences from my days in youth orchestra more than a decade ago.
