Our family has finally recovered from more than a week-long stomach bug that was probably norovirus. For most of us, the actual sickness didn’t last for more than a day or two (thank God!) but it took a while getting through four kids and two parents.
After breakfast this morning, my oldest son noticed that his younger sister wasn’t feeling well. She recently had the stomach flu, so she was resting on the couch and sipping ginger ale until she felt better.
We took our kids to the Children’s Museum of Denver today; all four had lots of fun in the Art Studio with paint. We took home these original pieces of artwork
Over the last few weeks, we’ve had more rain in our area of Colorado, which has caused the grass to grow quickly. So tonight was mowing night.
Yesterday morning, my oldest came upstairs to show me a unique LEGO creation of his own design: a “record player”.
Now that we’re into July, it’s time for a brief garden update! Today, we’re focusing on the green bean patch.
Over the last few months, my brother took an online course on video production and his project was a promotional about my coffee roasting.
The weather is heating up quite a bit, so we filled up the kiddie pool in the backyard today. After lunch, everyone hurried outside to play in the water, but the fun soon turned to tears and screaming when water was poured on an unsuspecting victim.
